The REIV has stated to all Landlords and Agents that:
on going maintenance and inspection of Smoke Alarms needs to be treated seriously. More seriously than leaving it to a tenant. Managing Agents need to consider arranging for a contractor to regularly check alarms.
A position supported by the Metropolitan Fire Brigade and the Building Commission Victoria.
+How often will the service be performed?
Cyclic Maintenance Pty Ltd will ensure the continued servicing of the rent roll on the 12 month anniversary of the most recent service at each property unless requested or negotiated as otherwise.
+Do your technicians undergo training?
All maintenance is carried out to detailed work and quality documentation. All staff are police checked and trained in the specialised field of servicing Smoke Alarms in residential properties.  Our Staff undergo a strict Safety and Site Respect program.
